Justin Timberlake and Pink scored on Sunday night with performances at the Super Bowl in Minneapolis.
Beginning under the stands in what was made to look like a club, Timberlake did part of his new hit "Filthy" accompanied by a laser show.
He then made his way into the stadium and onto the field, backed by several dancers, while singing "Rock Your Body" – the track that ended his 2004 Super Bowl performance with Janet Jackson. (Timberlake cut the song off just before the now-famous lyric behind the "wardrobe malfunction.")
JT rolled through hits like "SexyBack" and "My Love" before being joined by a marching band for "Suit and Tie." Then he was solo on a circular stage fitted with a white grand piano to serenade the crowd with "Until The End Of Time." Timberlake mixed in a bit of Minneapolis icon Prince's "I Would Die 4 You" with a projection of the late Purple One.
Outside the stadium, the famous Prince symbol appeared.
Timberlake made his way to yet another stage to belt out "Mirrors," where he was surrounded by an array of mirrors held up by dozens of extra who circled him.

JT topped off his halftime performance with the smash "Can't Stop The Feeling!" as he climbed the stairs into the stands. He even took selfies with fans – including 13-year-old Ryan McKenna, who seemed more interested in his phone than the pop superstar performing beside him. (McKenna became the "selfie kid" on social media and sparked countless memes.)
Timberlake's choreography was flawless and the whole show went off without a hitch. The only political moment came when JT and his dancers went down on one knee atop the NFL logo on the field – an homage to the the players who took a knee during the anthem in the regular season.
"Two words. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE," tweeted Nick Jonas. "Wow that was unreal. LEGEND."
The Super Bowl kicked off with the national anthem performed by Pink. Despite earlier complaining of being hit with the flu, the pop star conquered "The Star Spangled Banner" with poise and elegance.
