Keith Urban Trades Guitar Lessons For Ice Time In Montréal
New Zealand-born country superstar Keith Urban was spotted taking tips from Montréal Canadiens forward Andrew Shaw while on a promotional stop in Montréal last week (Mar. 16).
Urban was on hand to help drum up hype for his Ripcord Tour, which takes place in Montréal’s Bell Centre – home of the Canadiens – August 12.
Not only was Urban treated to a one-on-one ice session with the Habs forward, but he returned the favour by giving free guitar lessons to Shaw in the team’s dressing room at their practice space in Brossard, Québec.
It will mark Urban’s first concert in Montréal, and only his second concert in Québec after playing the Festival d'été de Québec in 2015.
