Kesha Needs 'A Break From The Screens' In 2017

You won't be seeing Kesha on social media (or the Internet very much) in 2017 because she's trying to stay off the screens in the New Year. Words of her hiatus surfaced on Tuesday (January 3) when she took to Instagram to pen a note to her fans, apologizing for unfollowing all of her supporters and admitting that she wants to see if this break will help heal her inner self.

"I'm not disappearing, just trying to be less obsessed with the Internet," she wrote in the photo caption of her New Year's resolution. "I have been reading about the emotional effects of social media and it seems that it may help my anxiety and depression if I am more present. less screens. less internet. life is one big experiment. let's see how it goes."

We can't blame you, Kesha. Do you. Read her full note below!
