Canada’s Drake is among the music stars sharing condolences with Sean “Diddy” Combs, whose ex-girlfriend Kim Porter died this week.
“Sending peace and prayers to my brothers and to the big homie Puff. Love ya’ll and I am so sorry,” he wrote on Instagram.
Diddy and Porter, who have three children together, had a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship up until 2007, when she learned that he fathered a child with another woman. (Porter also has a son with singer Al B. Sure!)
Porter was found dead in her California home on Thursday. She was 47. A cause of death has not been determined. A rep for Diddy said in a statement,”I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.”
Singer Usher called Porter his “Big Sister” and shared: “I would have hugged you more, we would have laughed more, I would have smiled more, I would have held your hand, I would have told you I love and appreciate you more, I would have told you how proud of you I was, I would have told you what you mean to me and my family, I would have enjoyed our friendship more, and I would never thought we’d be saying goodbye so soon.”
Nicki Minaj offered condolences to Diddy. “Sending love to Puff …I can’t even imagine what you must be going through.”
Busta Rhymes wrote: “There is no words that can describe this pain of losing you Kim. You were truly a big sister to me … @Diddy there are no words that can comfort you and your beautiful children enough right now but just know that I am here regardless of whom or what.”
50 Cent tweeted: “She was loved and will be missed dearly. I know Puff is hit right now, he loved her for real, soul mate type s**t. Chin up puff, Positive vibes only.”
