Lady Gaga attended the world premiere of the documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Friday.
It was reportedly the first time the “Perfect Illusion” singer had seen the film.
Before the lights went down at the Princess of Wales Theatre, Gaga – born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta – had a special introduction and dedication for director Chris Moukarbel and fans, serenading the theatre with a pulsating slow-tempo version of “Bad Romance" that earned a standing ovation.

“I’m very aware of the responsibility (to fans),” Gaga said. “And that is actually what propels me in those moments when I’m not feeling well to push through, because I have a responsibility to live the dream and be the dream for that next girl and that next boy that wants it, that they know that no matter what, that it can be done.”
The documentary offers fans a candid, funny, and authentic look into the pop star’s real life, and shows footage from memorable performances such as the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Gaga: Five Foot Two will be released on Sep. 22 on Netflix.
