Ariana Grande dropped a new song on Saturday that name-checks four ex-boyfriends, including recent ex-fiancé Pete Davidson.
In “Thank U, Next,” which the pop star had been teasing on social media for a few days, she also mentions Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez and Mac Miller (whose real name was Malcolm).
“Thought I’d end up with Sean / But he wasn’t a match,” Grande sings. “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh / Even almost got married / And for Pete I’m so thankful / Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm / ‘Cause he was an angel.”
On Twitter, Grande said the song is a positive one.
“no drags.... no shade..... jus love, gratitude, acceptance, honesty, forgiveness ... and growth,” she tweeted.

Grande also revealed it’s the title track from a new album. “i’m gonna jus keep creating and putting stuff out as i please,” she wrote. “it feels good to my soul and i love keeping the kids fed.”
No doubt the singer will preview new material on her Sweetener tour, which stops in Montreal on March 1 followed by shows in Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver in April.
A little more than hour after Grande shared “Thank U, Next,” Davidson appeared on SNL and mentioned their recent split.
“The truth is, it’s nobody’s business,” he said. "Sometimes things just don’t work out. She’s a wonderful strong person and I wish her all the happiness in the world.”
