Louis Tomlinson told fans this week that he’s getting closer to finally dropping an album.
“Thank you for all your patience,” the singer tweeted. "Believe me we’re getting close! Really excited about a couple of the new songs.
“Can’t wait for the day to finally release this album. It’s all I’ve been working towards over the last two years.”
Earlier this year, Tomlinson explained the delay. “I’m a perfectionist so things are taking a little longer,” he tweeted. "Few more songs to add! Believe me I’m as impatient as you all are!"
Tomlinson and Liam Payne are the only two members of One Direction who have not put out a solo album.
Tomlinson has released the singles “Miss You” and “Just Like You” and collaborated with Steve Aoki for “Just Hold On,” and with Bebe Rexha for “Back to You.”
