Luke Bryan To Perform National Anthem At Super Bowl

It's official: Luke Bryan will be performing the national anthem at Super Bowl LI.

The country star took to Twitter to share the news to his fans on Sunday before it was formally announced by the NFL.

Bryan joins an all-star list of superstars who have previously had the honour to perform the national anthem. He will be the first male artist to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" since Billy Joel in 2007 for Super Bowl XLI.

As previously reported, pop singer Lady Gaga will be headlining the Halftime Show.

Super Bowl LI will take place on Feb. 5, 2017 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. It airs on CTV.
