Madonna Promises New Album By End Of Year

Madonna has opened up about her next album and revealed that fans won’t have to wait much longer.

The pop icon, who turns 60 on Aug. 16, told Vogue Italia about how living in Lisbon, Portugal – where her son David Banda played soccer – has inspired her.

“I’ve just met lots of really amazing musicians, and I’ve ended up working with a lot of these musicians on my new record, so Lisbon has influenced my music and my work,” Madonna explained. “How could it not?

“I don’t see how I could have gone through that year without being informed by all this input of culture.”

Madonna promised the album “will be released by the end of the year.”

It will be her first since Rebel Heart in 2015.

Madonna announced recently she is marking her milestone birthday by asking fans to donate to her Raising Malawi foundation.
