Maroon 5 Manager Jordan Feldstein Dead

Jordan Feldstein, longtime manager of Maroon 5, died Friday after suffering a heart attack. He was 40.

Feldstein – who was the brother of actor Jonah Hill – had managed Maroon 5 since the band's beginning more than 15 years ago. According to Billboard, Feldstein was childhood friends with Adam Levine and helped negotiate the pop singer’s position as judge on The Voice.

Feldstein also helped to guide such names as Miguel, Elle King, Big Boi, and Robin Thicke.

Shortly after his death, Feldstein’s family released the following statement: "Unfortunately, last night Jordan called 911 for shortness of breath, when paramedics arrived it was determined he went into full cardiac arrest and passed away shortly thereafter. His family asks for privacy during this difficult and unexpected time. In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan’s name."
