Singer-songwriter Mike Posner was rushed to a hospital in Colorado on Wednesday after he was bitten by a rattlesnake.
The 31-year-old, who has been walking across the U.S. since mid-April, shared a video on Instagram showing medics transporting him on a stretcher.
“Crazy day yesterday! I had just crushed 16 miles and was going for 8 more when I got bit by a baby rattlesnake! That venom is no joke! I got to the hospital and got the anti-venom in time,” he captioned the clip.
“Shout outs to G and Mike from the chopper team and Bo and Cassie and Whitney (my nurses). I’ll be here a few days and will not be able to walk for several weeks but enjoying the AC and the nice bed, haven’t had those in a while.”
Posner added that he “can’t wait to get back on The Walk!”
Music stars like Joe Jonas, Benny Blanco and Diplo and Jessie J have shared words of support on Posner's Instagram post.
The singer, best known for the hits “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” and “Cooler Than Me,” is chronicling his walk from New Jersey to California on social media.
