With only days to go before the release of her new album Younger Now, Miley Cyrus released a fourth single on Thursday.
“Week Without You” follows “Malibu,” “Inspired” and “Younger Now.”
She sings: "I know that I gave you my heart, but you stomped it to the ground and that's what's got me wondering what it's like to not have you around."
Cyrus wrote the lyrics for all 11 songs on Younger Now, out Sept. 29, and co-wrote the music. She also co-produced the album.
“This writing process has been a really different experience because I’ve never put out an album this way,” Cyrus said, in a release. “People have been asking me, ‘is this like a re-introduction of yourself?’ But it’s not that at all. Actually, it’s more like, I am this person who embraces all my past selves.
“This album is the most me for right now that I can be.”
The one-time Toronto resident (her dad Billy Ray Cyrus shot his series Doc in the city from 2000 to 2004) has put out five previous albums since 2007.
