Nickelback Hit Back At The Chainsmokers With Another Mash-up Tune
After The Chainsmokers were billed the “Nickelback of EDM” by Esquire, the electronic duo responded to the criticism yesterday with a mash-up of their single “Paris” with Nickelback’s “How You Remind Me”.
Today, Nickelback have continued the musical feud with another unique marriage of tunes – guitarist Ryan Peake blends The Chainsmokers’ hit “Closer” with their own hit, “How You Remind Me”.

The video was posted on the band’s Twitter page. In it, Peake says, “Also a Nickelback Chainsmokers mash-up that nobody wanted to hear. You can’t please everyone guys. Welcome to the club.”
Nickelback just yesterday announced their latest album, Feed The Machine, will be coming out June 9 along with a huge 44-date North American tour.
