Queen Musical 'We Will Rock You' Is Coming Back

Capitalizing on the success of Bohemian Rhapsody, a Canadian company is bringing the Queen musical We Will Rock You back to stages later this year.

Calgary’s Annerin Productions plans to launch a tour of the show on Sept. 3 to 8 at Winnipeg’s Centennial Concert Hall. It will then hit a number of U.S. cities – including a four-night run at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in NYC.

We Will Rock You will play Jubilee Auditoriums in Calgary and Edmonton on Dec. 27 and Dec. 30 respectively followed by Toronto’s Meridian Hall on Feb. 7, 2020.

Tickets for the Canadian dates go on sale April 5.

The 2002 musical, which features 24 Queen hits, follows Galileo, Scaramouche and the Bohemians as they try to get rock n’ roll (and the planet) back from an evil corporation led by the Killer Queen.

The Canadian premiere ran in Toronto from March 2007 to May 2008 and again from July 2008 to June 2009.

Annerin Productions' shows include the Foreigner musical Jukebox Hero, which had a run in Toronto in February.
