Robert Plant Announces Canadian Shows

Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters announced on Monday an extension of their Carry Fire tour.

The 13-city North American leg of the tour includes a June 15 show at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage with Sheryl Crow and wraps up on June 29 at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival with Seth Lakeman.

Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

Plant performed at Toronto’s Massey Hall back in February in support of Carry Fire, which came out last October.

The 69-year-old Led Zeppelin frontman appeared with his band last week on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he did “New World…”

In a new interview with Esquire, Plant said a Zeppelin reunion isn’t going to happen anytime soon.

"For me, my time has got to be filled with joy and endeavour and humour and power and absolute self-satisfaction. That’s not with Led Zeppelin,” he said. "That’s doing what I’m doing right now, with this band, on this tour ... But as for what I’ll be doing in five years time, I haven't got the answer. I haven't got a clue.”
