'Swift Life' App Is Shutting Down
The Swift Life, an app launched at the end of 2017 to provide “a creative and inclusive place” for Taylor Swift and her fans to “connect with each other,” is shutting down.
“As the reputation era comes to an end, our time on The Swift Life will be ending too,” reads a statement shared on Twitter. “The app is no longer available to download and on February 1, 2019, The Swift Life will shut down.”
Fans have until the end of January to use the “virtual currency” they collected. No new in-app purchases will be permitted.
“We would like to thank all the dedicated fans who downloaded The Swift Life, engaged with this amazing community and created gorgeous pieces of content for others to enjoy.”
Swift’s reputation tour, which kicked off May 8 in California, came to an end on Nov. 21 in Tokyo. It included two shows at Toronto’s Rogers Centre in August.
