Get ready to scream.
Troye Sivan has revealed that he teamed up with Ariana Grande to record a song for his new album.
“This was not a planned announcement," the 22-year-old pop star told BBC Radio 1. “But I'm so excited. It sounds exactly like I dreamt it would.”
Sivan said he simply asked his friend if she would sing on the song. “And she just did it,” he said.
"I'm so, so, so excited about. When I got the vocal back it sounded exactly like I thought it would and I was so happy."
Sivan added: “My favourite thing is not telling people who it is, and then starting to play the song and as soon as she starts to sing, everyone's like 'are you serious?' Her voice is nuts.”
Fans will have to wait until late spring for the release of Sivan's sophomore album to hear the collaboration.
The big Grande news comes just days after Sivan told another interviewer that he wrote “a really cute song” with Canada’s Carly Rae Jepsen – but it didn’t make the cut.
“We wrote and it just never, like...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t,” he told PopBuzz. "I love her. We had a really good time.”
