Tyler, The Creator publicly called Timothée Chalamet by his name last week – and the young actor took notice.
On the new track “Okra,” Tyler raps: “Tell Tim Chalamet to come get at me / Skin glowing, clear of acne.”
The rapper is, of course, referring to the 22-year-old star of this year’s Oscar-nominated films Call Me By Your Name and Lady Bird.
Chalamet responded to the musical shout-out by retweeting a fan’s meme showing him enthusiastically falling out of his chair.
Tyler's crush on Chalamet should come as no surprise. The 27-year-old's latest album includes a track called "I Ain't Got Time," in which he raps: "I been kissing white boys since 2004."

He is the second music star to show some love for Chalamet recently. When a fan on Twitter asked Kid Cudi to name his favourite artist right now, the rapper replied with “@RealChalamet.”
In response, the actor tweeted: “UHMMM OKAY STRIKE ME THE F**K DOWN.” Later, he replied directly to Cudi with: “so much love for you.”
