WATCH: Mike Myers Rocks Out With Mac DeMarco

Things got very Canadian this week at a club in Los Angeles when Ontario's Mike Myers joined B.C.-born, Alberta-raised Mac DeMarco on stage.

DeMarco was part of the house band at Largo Theater on Monday night when Myers made a surprise appearance.

Sporting a Joy Division-esque T-shirt emblazoned with “Canada” and “True. North. Free,” Myers performed a spirited version of “BBC,” a song his character performed in 1997’s Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery as part of the band Ming Tea (which, fun fact, featured Toronto's Christopher Ward).

DeMarco and Myers were backed by a group of musicians that included Neil Finn of Crowded House fame (who’s about to go on tour with Fleetwood Mac) and his son Liam Finn.

No word on whether Myers, a proud Torontonian, scolded DeMarco for releasing a track called “F**k The Toronto Raptors” on Tuesday.
