WATCH: Pennywise Plays Last Song Ever On A Warped Tour

The Vans Warped Tour ended its 24-year run on Sunday with a performance of “Bro Hymm” by California band Pennywise.

“Wow @VansWarpedTour has just ended and I am watching the last tail lights leave the lot,” tweeted Kevin Lyman, who founded the tour in 1995.

“I have done what I can do and now it is your turn. Do amazing things, much love to those who got it!”

Earlier this year, Lyman said the 2018 edition of Warped Tour would be the last due to changes in the summer music festival business, a shrinking pool of bands, and declining ticket sales.

The final run kicked off June 21 in Ponoma, California and included one Canadian stop – at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage in July.

This year’s line-up included Canadian bands Simple Plan (who did 11 Warped Tours) and Sum 41 (who did seven).

In an interview with The Associated Press, Sébastien Lefebvre of Simple Plan predicted Pennywise – who performed at the first edition – would end Warped Tour with “Bro Hymm.”

He added: “Everybody that’s on the grounds is going to sing like crazy people. There’s going to be ugly criers in the front row, there’s going to be ugly criers in the backstage too because people are going to be sad this thing is over, but I believe that is the anthem of Warped Tour.”
