WATCH: Selena Gomez Stars In Fun Video For 'Back To You'
Selena Gomez on Tuesday shared a fun, colourful video for her song “Back to You.”
The visual for the song – which many fans speculate is about her on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Bieber – was directed by Scott Cudmore and was clearly inspired by 1965’s Pierrot le Fou by French filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard.
Gomez and a cute guy (with an early-Biebs hairstyle) slip away from a party and steal a car. “Where are we going,” he asks Gomez, who lists off a bunch of places, including Canada.
“You know, you sort of look like Selena Gomez,” the guy comments.
Cut to the couple frolicking in a field as he films the singer and she snaps Polaroids of him. All is good until Gomez finds that they’re wanted for “public nuisance and grand theft auto.” She declares: “I’m not going to jail.”
Then we see Gomez reading Tales of Infidelity in the back of a paddy-wagon… and the car’s on fire… and… quel drame!
