The woman who unexpectedly had her in vitro fertilization paid for by the late George Michael has given birth.
Lynette Gillard, who discussed her personal 13-year-struggle with becoming pregnant on TV, was sent a donation of approximately $15,000 CAD by Michael, on the condition that he would remain anonymous at the time.
Gillard didn't find out she was finally pregnant until Michael died last Christmas.
The proud mom gave birth two weeks ago to a baby boy named Seth Logan George Hart – one of the middle names a tribute to the generosity of the pop icon.
"I hope he’s looking down smiling, knowing I have what I’ve always longed for," Gillard told The Sun. "He believed in me and gave me hope to keep trying even when I felt it was useless.”
