It's March Break!
This is going to be one of the best March Breaks in years..new snow..matter a fact tons of new snow and very mild this weekend with plenty of sun so don't forget the sun screen..you can get a nasty burn off the snow.
All resorts are open and join the NEWSTALK Descente Rossignol ski team this weekend at Hidden Valley resort..a great, ski in and ski out resort right on Peninsula Lake. OK, as for events, there's a ton to entertain the entire family starting with the Sweetwater Harvest Maple Syrup Festival at Wye Marsh in Midland..start your day with a delicious pancake breakfast, local music and entertainment along with horse drawn wagon rides, sugar shack and more..Sat and Sun 10-4.
Kitchener will be busy with the RV show and Sale, with over 65,000 sq ft of seminars, displays and more all weekend at the Memorial Auditorium.
I can't believe it's almost spring with the annual Sir Sams Spring Splash...costume skiers try and cross a man made pond and many don't followed by a dinner and dance right after.
In Bracebridge it's the always popular Muskoka Arts and Crafts Show..42nd annual with local music, talent, artisans and more at the Sportsplex all weekend.
There's 5 big shows in Toronto..26th annual Cottage and Life Show with over 600 exhibitors, live entertainment, fashion shows and more all weekend at the International Center in Mississauga.
Right downtown, it's the Green Living Show..North Americas largest show of it's kind with eco conscious business and services at Metro Convention Center all weekend.
It's rainbow ski weekend at Blue Mt..LGBTQ celebration with official raising of the flag, ceremonies, outdoor entertainment, parties and more all weekend in the Village.
The sap is running and there are a number of Maple Syrup Festivals in the Province..Wiarton Rotary Maple Magic, Sat and Suns at Regal Point Elk Farm including pancake breakfast along with peaches, maple and cream deserts.
Sugarbush Festival in Georgetown with all the usual celebrations morning noon and night at Terra Cotta Convservation Area through March Break.

Canada Blooms..the Flower and Garden Show is underway ..23rd annual with thousands of people attending at Enercare Center.
National Home Show is also underway with over 800 retailers, seminars and exhibits starting on Friday and running through the 17th also at Enercare,CNE.
Toronto has it's first Maple Syrup Festival...Sugar Shack TO at Sherbourne Common Center from 11-5 all weekend.
One of the biggest Nostalgia Shows takes place on Sunday in Woodstock..over 300 vendors, thousands of items from the 30's to 80's at the Market Buildings and Auditorium.
And St Patricks Day celebrations continue in Listowel..North America's biggest with everything green through the 16th and in Toronto, it's the annual St Paddys Day parade on Sunday starting at noon from Bloor and George St winding up at Nathan Philips Square.
