$6.8 million for band-aids and duct tape

They can't  deliver the streetcars on time, but Bombardier is getting more of your money.

This time it's to fix the rusty Scarborough RT vehicles.

A report in the Toronto Star says the vehciles are so rotten, that there's a risk of structural failure.

The report also suggests the bill will be in the neighbourhood of 6.8 millon dollars.

While Bombardier wasn't the company who originally built the cars, 32 years ago, they do now own the company who did.

The Scarborough RT needs to keep running for another 10 years, until the subway into Scarborough opens.

The TTC says Bombardier is in the best position to do the job.
