Cause of Mississauga fire won't be known for months
The fire lit up the Friday evening sky in Streetsville, but we may not know the cause for months.
The four-storey condo under construction in the Queen St S and Britannia area, was destroyed after the fire quickly spread engulfing the entire structure just after 7 o'clock on Friday evening.
The heat from the flames cracked several windows of the Credit River Retirement Residence, but there were no evacuations in that building ordered.
There were no casualties due to the fire, but a firefighter did suffer a minor hand injury on scene.
The Ontraio Fire Marshall's office has wrapped their on scene investigation, but the report identifying the case hasn't yet been released. As a matter of fact , it appears it could be several months before the report is released.
