Church among buildings damaged in spate of downtown fires
A man is facing charges of arson after a series of fires around the Ryerson University campus.
Six fires were lit over a little more than an hour early Wednesday morning.
The Church of the Holy Trinity was among the damaged buildings as garbage was set on fire on its steps. The flames cut through large, ornate doors that a parish priest says will cost some $30,000 to replace.
32 -year-old Jordan Cuthbert has been charged.
