Don Bosco closing June 30
School is over for most students at the end of June as they start their summer break.
But at Don Bosco Catholic Secondary School in Etobicoke, school is over for good.
After nearly 40 years, it will close its doors on June 30 due to low enrollment.
On Saturday, hundreds of alumni, students and staff gathered at the school for a reunion.
Former Toronto mayor and councillor Rob Ford coached football there for a decade.
Don Bosco is not the only school that ended up on the chopping block because of low numbers.
Drake's former school, Vaughan Road Academy near Oakwood and Eglinton West, closed at the end of May.
