Environment Canada has issued a wind warning, saying gusts could reach as high as 100km/h at times late Friday afternoon and into the evening.
Overnight the winds are expected to die down.
But at 100km/h, that's enough to damage buildings or break tree branches, possibly knocking out power.
And no one will be spared from the gusts, since the warning covers all of southern Ontario.
