Image of a vehicle wanted in Friday's shooting on Walpole Avenue released

Toronto Police have released an image of a vehicle wanted in connection to Friday's shooting on Walpole Avenue. 

The shooting occurred at around 2:22 a.m near Greenwood Avenue. 

According to Police, the shooting involved two vehicles parked in the area with occupants seated inside. 

An unknown male suspect approached on foot, and began shooting at the two vehicles and the occupants began firing back. 

When the lone shooter fled, he was followed by the two vehicles, and the exchange of gunfire continued as he ran onto Walpole Avenue. 

One of the occupants in the vehicle was shot and made his way to hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries. 

The man underwent surgery and was reported to be in life-threatening condition.

The vehicle in question is believed to be a red Nissan Altima.
