MP Adam Vaughan deletes tweet, issues apology
Liberal MP Adam Vaughan has backed away from a contorversial tweet he posted earlier this week.
In that tweet, Vaughan used an image of children being held in detention centres on the US/Mexico border, saying, among other things, "Our Goverment will not cage children."
NEWSTALK 1010's Jim Richards spoke with Vaughan on the day the tweet was posted, and gave him a chance to defend himself, but at that time, the MP refused to back down.
