Not many details after body found in Markham

Police aren't saying much when it comes to human remains found in a wooded area in Markham.

The body was found next to the Rouge River, not far from Warden and the 407, just before 11 o'clock on Monday night.

All York Regional Police will say is that the remains are that of an adult male, and they haven't yet been identified.

It's unclear how long the body had been there.

Officers are now waiting for results of an autopsy.
