Police investigating roundhouse kick at anti-abortion protest

Police tell our sister station CP24 they are investigating after a man was captured on camera delivering a roundhouse kick to a pro-choice demonstrator at an anti-abortion protest in Toronto on Sunday.

It happened Sunday at Bloor and Keele. The man, who is pro-choice, confronts the protesters. During a discussion, he suddenly kicks the woman behind the camera.

She was hurt, but her injuries do not appear to be serious.

The suspect had left the scene before police arrive.

The man in the video has been identified as Jordan Hunt, a Parkdale hairdresser. He's been fired from his job.

It has been brought to our attention that Jordan has been caught on camera assaulting an innocent bystander at a pro life rally. We don’t condone his actions and he has been let go. We believe that everyone has a right to an opinion and the right to voice their opinion without fear of physical violence.
