Police search for suspect linked to three sexual assaults

Sexual Assault suspect

Toronto Police believe the same man is responsible in a string of sexual assaults in Toronto and Collingwood.

They say these cases have been linked through DNA evidence.

The first was in July 2015. Police say a woman was approached from behind in the Dufferin and Rogers area, dragged into a laneway and sexually assaulted.

In January 2017, OPP in Collingwood say a 17-year-old girl was pulled into a vehicle and sexually assaulted.

The most recent assault was last month in Toronto.

Police say a woman got into a vehicle near Lake Shore and Strachan, that she believed belonged to her ride-share driver.

They say the suspect drove to a parking lot near Jane and Eglinton, sexually assaulted her and threatened to kill her.

Police have released two composite images of the suspect.
