Police searching for a man wanted in an attempted murder investigation

Toronto Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with an attempted murder investigation.

On Saturday, August 5 at 9:10 p.m. officers were called to the Lansdowne Avenue and Davenport Road area for someone hurt.

It is alleged a man assaulted a 49-year-old man then was last seen travelling southbound on Lansdowne Avenue.

That man has been identified as 45-year-old Whitley Hunter of Toronto.  He is wanted for attempt murder.

Police say Hunter is considered armed, violent and dangerous and if you see him do not approach.  Call 9-1-1 immediately.
