Province quietly launches sex-ed consultations

If you haven't done so already, you can now let the government know what you think about sex-ed in schools.

The province quietly launched the online consultations on Friday, looking to hear from parents on not just sex-ed, but other topics as well.

The government didn't exactly make a splash with the launch, leading the opposition to question why.

Education Minister Lisa Thompson told reporters at Queen's park that they'd reached out to the school boards and that they are promoting the survey in their communities.

More information about phone surveys and town hall events is expected in the next couple of weeks.

The consultations will continue until December 15th.
