Say goodbye to the wind warning, Southern Ontario!
The wind warning has ended for Southern Ontario.
Environment Canada lifted it at around 8:30 p.m. It had been in place since yesterday afternoon.
The peak of the wind storm saw gusts of 98 k/h at Billy Bishop and 96 km/h at Toronto Pearson.
Fallen trees toppled hydro wires and caused outages across Toronto to tens of thousands of homes and businesses.
Crews faced 21,400 outages, at one point, but had that down to 8,000 within a couple of hours.
Tomorrow, the temperature will have people talking. The high is expected to only reach 2 degrees when it should be closer to plus 8.
