Three men sentenced to life in prison for 2016 Pizza Pizza murder

It will be life in prison for the three men convicted in the 2016 shooting death of a teen in a Pizza Pizza.

17-year-old Jarryl Hagley was shot several times while sitting in the restaurant on Weston Road near Lawrence.

The motive for the shooting was never revealed.

Mohamed Ali Nur and brothers Shakiyl and Lenneil Shaw, were convicted of first-degree murder on May 23rd.

The three were sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.

A fourth man was originally charged with murder, but was later charged with accessory after the fact, after he agreed to testify against the co-accused. That meant the murder charge was withdrawn.

The mother of the twin brothers has maintained her sons' innocence.
