Toronto man arrested in fatal summertime hit and run in Vaughan
A 19 year old Toronto man is now facing charges in a deadly hit and run that happened in Vaughan, back in August.
35-year-old Adam Colucci from Woodbridge, was hit by a pickup on highway 7 near Keele, not far from the the Pinecrest Motel.
It took investigators from York Regional Police months, but they eventually found the vehcile involved, a black Nissan Frontier, near Jane and Finch.
They also learned it had been stolen.
On February 9th, police arrested Dustyn Sharp, 19, from Toronto, and have charged him with filing to stop at the scene of a collision causing death, theft over $5,000 and possession of stolen property.
Police say it was thanks to tips from the public, that they were able to move this case forward.
