Toronto Police constable charged with careless use of firearm
A Toronto Police constable has been charged with careless use of a firearm stemming from an on-the-job incident in November.
Police say the 11-year veteran of the service was responding to a call for alarm going off at construction site near Yonge St and Queen's Quay with reports of two men on the site. Police allege that during the police search, an officer fired at a man. He missed and hit a shed.
