Toronto Police searching for men in attempted murder investigation

Toronto Police are looking for a group of men wanted in a brutal assault on a 27-year-old man.

Officers say it started just after 2am at a pub near Madison Ave and Bloor West, on Sunday, September 23rd.

And it was all over a spilled drink.

Once both groups were kicked out of the pub, a group followed the 27-year-old man and his friends to a nearby parking lot, where things got ugly.

One the men stabbed the victim while the friends jumped in, kicking and punching the victim in the head repeatedly.

While the victim was on the ground, one of the suspects picked up a large boulder and forcefully slammed it down on him.

The victim was knocked out, and his injuries are considered life-threatening.

Police have now released security camera images of the suspects, and ask anyone with information to please come forward.
