Two Toronto teen girls arrested for armed robbery
Toronto police have arrested two 15-year-old girls they say were involved in an armed robbery.
A 39-year-old woman says she was approached by a group of suspects in the Jane and Wilson area at about 7 p.m. Tuesday. She tells police one of them pointed a gun at her and she was pushed to the ground.
They stole her backpack.
Police arrested the girls near the scene. Twenty-year-old Sorie Ibrahim Conteh also surrendered to police.
They have been charged with robbery with a firearm.
