UPDATE: 3 alarm fire breaks out at townhouse complex in Mississauga

A townhouse fire had crews in Mississauga busy early Saturday morning.

The three alarm fire started just after 2 a.m. at 1560 Bloor Street, that's in the Bloor Street and Dixie Road area.

Mississauga Fire Platoon Chief Alan Hills says two firefighers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.  They were treated and released.

Hills says two residents were assessed on scene, but not taken to hospital.

Fire crews remain on scene tending to hot spots.

Hills says the community played a big part in getting people out of the homes and that definitely helped in not having more serious injuries.

No word yet on what caused the fire.
