WATCH: Police looking for two shooters after attempted murder

He may have just been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Police have released surveillance video of a shooting in the area of Don Mills and Overlea Boulevard last month, an attempted murder.

Samuel Taylor was pulled over on the side of the road when two men came up to him and shot him multiple times.

He was critically injured, but survived.

Police are now looking for the shooters, and their vehicles.

Det. Sgt Jim Gotell says Taylor was visiting a friend in the neighbourhood when he had trouble with his car. He pulled over to work on the vehicle, before he was approached by the suspects.

"We don't believe that the suspects knew Mr. Taylor, nor do we believe that he knew them," Gotell told reporters.

Taylor's brother David joined Gotell at a press conference, asking anyone with information to come forward.

"All we know is that we almost lost a dear family member for what seems like no reason at all," he said.

Gotell says this was the fourth shooting in the area in five months.
