WATCH: Toronto traffic icon ready to fall but goodbye will be painful
Lots of options - None of them good.
That's no doubt going to be the story of the summer for anyone who commutes into downtown from west of Toronto.
Starting next week, you'll no longer be able to take the York-Bay-Yonge exit from the eastbound Gardiner Expressway.
The ramp is being knocked down and replaced with a new one that will feed onto Lower Simcoe Street.
It's a project that's expected to take 8 months to complete, and one that city hall admits will be painful until it's finished.
