WATCH: British grocery chain ad is banned from TV

British grocery store Iceland Foods have had their Christmas commercial banned from TV for being too political.

The spot, which makes use of the short film "Rang Tan" commissioned by Greenpeace, brings to light the harmful effects of harvesting palm oil in South East Asia -- namely the destruction of forests that orangutans call home.

Iceland Foods has promised not to stock any products that use palm oil as an ingredient.
