VIDEO: 24-year-old Charged in Windsor's Fourth Homicide of 2019

A 24-year-old Windsor man is charged with one count of second degree murder from the city's fourth homicide of the year.

Windsor police laid the charge against Jonathon Dasilva.

It's in connection with the discovery of a woman's body in a home on Moy Ave. near Wyandotte St. E Friday.

Officers called to the home considered the death suspicious and called in the Major Crimes Unit.

After forensic processing of the house and further investigation a male suspect was identified and arrested yesterday.

Police have only said the victim and accused were known to each other.
