Former NFL Player Convicted of Rape

A former NFL player is in some major trouble,

Tight end Kellen Winslow Junior has been convicted of raping a 58-year-old homeless woman last year in San Diego County, California.

A jury returned the verdict on Monday but was continuing to deliberate on two more counts of rape involving a hitchhiker and an unconscious teenage girl. 

Winslow was drafted by the Cleveland Browns with the sixth overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft and also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, and New York Jets.

He faces up to life in prison.
