Police investigate dozens of trailer break-ins at Lambton campground
Close to three dozen trailer units were broken into overnight Friday and into Saturday in St. Clair Township.
Lambton OPP were called to Mooretown Campground on Emily Street and discovered someone had broken a window in a trailer door and unlocked the door. Police walked through the campground and discovered about 34 other trailers that were forcibly entered in the same manner.
Electronics were taken, but the total value is unknown at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
The West Region Forensic Identification Unit is assisting with the investigation.
