Protest Over Closure Of Belle River Service Ontario Office
A protest is planned for tomorrow over the closure of the Belle River Service Ontario Office.
It comes as the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services has completed a review and now plans to keep five centres originally slated for closure open.
The Belle River office, which closed January 19th, is not one of them.
The protest is set for tomorrow from 3 to 5pm at the St. Simon and St. Jude Hall.
OPSEU and Essex MPP Taras Natyshak plan to call on the province to re-open the office and make it publicly run.
