Vegas Snaps Wings Winning Streak

Jonathan Marchessault scored two goals to lead the Vegas Golden Knights to a 4-3 NHL win over the Red Wings in Detroit.

William Karlsson and Brayden McNabb each added goals for Vegas.  

Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 36 of 39 shots for Vegas, which has won two straight since a four-game skid.  

Gustav Nyquist, Michael Rasmussen and Thomas Vanek each had a goal for Detroit.  

Rasmussen, who has missed the last ten games with a hamstring issue also had an assist and Dylan Larkin, who had been out since Friday with an oblique injury had two assists in his return.  

Jimmy Howard turned aside 28 shots in the loss.  

The Wings open a three-game road swing in Buffalo Saturday afternoon.
